Published Reviews

"Coyote...affords pleasures that make it obvious why this show has become a word-of-mouth success... The playwright has a knack for working fresh headline references into brisk, vital dialogue."

Ben Brantley, The New York Times

"The characters and dialogue in Tony DiMurro's new play The Coyote Bleeds seem so real, you might imaging that you're sitting in a police precinct, listening to some cops shoot the breeze."

Amy Reiter, Back Stage

"Spellbinding! ... The writing of The Coyote Bleeds is first class. Wonderful one-liners, which are funny albeit politically incorrect, are sprinkled throughout."

Cathy Seidner, New York Law Journal

"The blizzard delayed me, the flu delayed me, but I finally got down to see The Coyote Bleeds -- Tony DiMurro's play about crimes and misdemeanors in a big city police department. I'm awfully glad I did. The Coyote Bleeds is grueling, funny, scary...and the talk sounds and feels dead right."

Margo Jefferson, The New York Times
