Teen actress Jill is starring in her local community theater's production of Romeo and Juliet, but that's not the only role she's playing. In order to hide her passion for acting from her sports-obsessed parents, she's disguised herself as Ellie for the last two years. But when a promising prom date hinges on her parents attending the play's premiere, Jill and her best friend Allie hatch an identity-swapping scheme that throws both the production and their love lives into chaos. A playful take on The Importance of Being Earnest with a Shakespearean twist.
