Melchior, Balthasar, and Caspar are just three ordinary kings on a top-secret mission: follow a mysterious star to track down a new baby king. Brought together by the scheming King Herod of Judea, their differences initially end in stalemate sword fights and spiteful bickering. When they realize they can combine their unique skills to overcome their obstacles -- clowning bandits, bumbling Roman soldiers, riddling Gryphons, and omnipresent spies -- the kings find their way to Bethlehem and greet history's most famous baby.
