Alison Weiss was born and raised in Manhattan and discovered the thrills of live theater as a young girl running around Broadway houses while her lighting designer father was in tech week. Her ten-minute play Fight Dreams has been performed at Ensemble Studio Theater, HERE Arts Center, and many theaters and colleges around the country. Her one-act play The Statue appeared in the New York International Fringe Festival.
