Samara Siskind is a Florida based playwright. Her full-length play Fell in Love with a Girl was critically acclaimed and nominated for a Carbonell Award as well as a South Florida Curtain Up Award for Best New Work. Ms. Siskind has penned several published children's plays including Bar Mitzvah Boy, featured in the Vintage Books Anthology Shorter, Faster, Funnier edited by Eric Lane and Nina Shengold. Ms. Siskind has also been featured in Plays, the Drama Magazine for Young People, Volume II of Young Women's Monologues from Contemporary Plays, and was named a finalist in Playscripts' Are Women Funny? Contest. Ms. Siskind holds a BFA in Regional Theatre from Webster University's Conservatory of Theatre Arts.
