Biography
Jonathan Mayer is from the Orlando, Florida area and is a recent graduate of Harvard College, where he studied Dramatic Arts. As an author of several one-act plays, short films, and full-lengths, he started writing at 14 and continues to do so. In high school, he performed in and directed multiple plays as a member of the International Thespian Society. He won the 2006 VSA Arts Playwright Discovery Award for an alternative version of his play Mistakes-R-Us, which world premiered at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. Mr. Mayer is published by Playscripts, Inc. and Brooklyn Publishers, and his plays have been performed throughout the US and internationally.
