Jonathan Josephson. Forty-five of Mr. Josephson's plays have been produced at site-specific locations, schools and theatres across the country including Actors Theatre of Louisville (Humana Festival), Milwaukee Rep (RepLab), Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Play Festival (Festival Winner), San Jose Rep (SJREAL), Chance Theater, and New York SummerFest. Mr. Josephson is also the [Artistic] Director of Unbound Productions in Los Angeles, and is one of the co-creators of the multi-award winning immersive theatre events Wicked Lit, History Lit and Mystery Lit. Unbound has produced many of his adaptations including Las Lloronas, The Grove of Rashomon, and Anansi and the Demons (Mountain View Mausoleum); The Garden Party and The Girl Who Owned a Bear (Pasadena Museum of History); and Holmes, Sherlock and The Consulting Detective (Los Angeles Arboretum). These adaptations have also been produced by theatres and schools across the U.S. as well as the U.K., Japan, and Cameroon. Mr. Josephson has received two Individual Artist Awards from the Pasadena Arts Commission, is a five-time Finalist for Actors Theatre of Louisville's Heideman Award and has been named a Finalist for the O'Neill National Playwrights Conference and the City Theatre National Short Play Award. Fifteen of Mr. Josephson's plays are published by Steele Spring Stage Rights (including Wicked Lit), Samuel French, YouthPLAYS, PlayScripts, Applause Theatre & Cinema Books and Original Works Publishing.
