Biography
Alex Broun. Born in Sydney, Australia, Mr. Broun has enjoyed considerable success in theater, TV and film as a writer, actor and director. He has had many plays performed in the USA, South Africa, Singapore, the UK, Taiwan, Malaysia, the Philippines and Australia. He has also had many short films made of his work and has been twice funded by the Australian Film Commission. A specialist in ten minute plays, in recent years he has had over 50 short plays in over 250 productions across the globe. He is currently the Artistic Director of Short + Sweet -- the largest ten-minute theater festival in the world -- in Sydney and Brisbane.
