| Boy loves Girl. Boy tells Girl he loves her. Girl says yuck. Repeatedly. Girl will only be satisfied with a poem from Boy. If only Boy knew the first thing about writing a poem. With a little help from a football player who believes his tackles are a form of poetry, and a frightening but friendly Three-Headed Goth Creature, Boy ends up at the local poetry slam. Will Boy actually write a poem and prove his love for Girl or will he face another heart-crushing rejection? A comedy that proves why candy and flowers can't compete with bad poetry. |
