What do these prices mean? |

The answer often depends on who you are and what you're buying.
Prices for books, scores, etc.
- The prices for standard books, binder books (What's a binder book?), scores, CDs, and production packages are the prices for you to keep the items.
Prices for performance royalties (if you are performing the play)
- For short plays: Non-professional groups are only required to pay the flat per-performance royalty fee listed in the blue box of any play profile page.
- For short musicals: Non-professional groups are only required to pay the flat per-performance royalty fee that is automatically calculated during the order process.
- For full-length plays:
- K-12 schools are only required to pay the flat per-performance royalty fee listed in the blue box on the play's profile page.
- All other organizations are required to pay at least the flat per-performance royalty fee listed in the blue box on the play's profile page, and at most a percentage of actual box office revenue (usually 8-12%) after the production.
- For full-length musicals:
- K-12 schools are only required to pay the flat per-performance royalty fee that is automatically calculated during the order process.
- All other organizations are required to pay at least the flat per-performance royalty fee that is automatically calculated during the order process, and at most a percentage of actual box office revenue (usually 8-12%) after the production.
