Biography
Richard Medugno has written numerous plays, many of which have been produced and several published. A graduate of the UC Irvine's School of Fine Arts, Mr. Medugno's memoir Deaf Daughter, Hearing Father was published by Gallaudet University Press in 2005. His drama for hearing and deaf actors Silent Salzburg was produced at the California School for the Deaf - Fremont and the Pensacola Opera Company in 2006 and 2008, respectively. Most recently, Mr. Medugno's short plays Virtue L Sex, The Near Death Experiment, and Cyrano Truncated have received critical acclaim at small San Francisco Bay Area theaters.
