Biography
Richard Zinober won First Prize in the Ann White New Playwrights Contest (1990) for Seekers of the Light, which was produced by the Ann White Theater in Ft. Lauderdale (June 1990). It has also been produced at the West End Gate Theater in New York City (August 1994). His play The House at the Edge of the World won the Charles M. Getchell Award in the Southeastern Theater Conference New Play Project competition (1992), and was performed at the Minnesota Fringe Festival in Minneapolis (August 1999). Adventures in Space was produced at the Newport Performing Arts Center in Newport, Oregon (June 1993). His fiction has appeared in a number of journals, including New Voices, The Literary Review and Sundog: The Southeast Review. He teaches playwriting and screenwriting in the MFA program at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
