| This darkly hysterical re-imagining of the Hilton heirs' adolescence follows younger sister Nicky as she spirals into an existential crisis, much to the chagrin of her media-crazed sister Paris. When Nicky meets a goth kid from the suburbs, it's love at first sight--but Paris is determined to distract with wild parties, sexy clothes, and the help of her makeup artist and devoted follower Aaron. Aaron narrates an increasingly violent collision of lifestyles amid a backdrop of brain gibberish, cell phone cameras, and tenuous beauty in this bizarrely comic coming-of-age story. |
