| Sean Grennan has been hanging around theaters professionally as an actor or writer for over thirty years. His first professional production as a librettist was The Phantom of the Country Opera at the Marriott Theatre in Chicago in '95 (MTI). Since then he has written many plays and musicals including Luck!, Ms. Cinderella, his shows with Ms. Okimoto, Married Alive!, A Dog's Life, and Another Night Before Christmas, and others. His plays Beer for Breakfast and As Long As We Both Shall Live will premiere in '12 at the American Heartland Theatre and Making God Laugh will premiere at Peninsula Players in the summer of '11. He is currently at work on a new musical, 1 & 10. |

Karol, a disillusioned social worker, is trudging home one cold December night when she encounters an old man sitting on a park bench. Mistaking him for homeless, Karol offers the stranger some food -- a seemingly innocent gesture, until he turns up in her apartment claiming to be Santa Claus.
